Who do we collaborate with?

Meet some of the people who share our vision for an awakened world. We collaborate on projects, learn, share and dream together, and nourish others.

Mel Geltch

Campfire Co-op

Mel was a co-founder of Purpose Partners, with Jane and Frank. We honour her contribution, and continue to collaborate.

I’m a co-creator and collaborator for meaningful change, my practice deeply embedded in participatory leadership and self-organising.

I am passionate about unleashing the potential of people to do our best work in the world, and amplifying sustainable organisations, communities and systems where all are valued contributors.

My background is in journalism, communications, learning, events, planning and change in government, the media, and community and cultural sectors.

I work as a personal, team and organisational coach, guide, host and collaborator, with particular skills in organising, hosting and harvesting participatory events, projects and work that matters. I’m a Flow Game host, and a graphic harvester – drawing to make sense of what we learn together in meetings, workshops and conferences.

I’m an active member of the Australian and international Art of Hosting community of practitioners, and I’m learning and practising in new organisational models, particularly Teal.

As a co-founder of Campfire Co-op, an innovative business platform built on foundations of self-organisation (Teal), Art of Hosting and the Co-operatives movement, I’m an agent for igniting connection for wise action.

MICHELLE CROZIER

I have worked and played in the human service sector supporting people who may experience vulnerability for over 20 years.

I have experience in service management, academic research, project management and consultancy, as well as lived experience at the hands of different service systems (eg health and education).

At the heart of who I am is an ongoing commitment to see inclusive and welcoming communities that reduce the vulnerability of people who can be dependent on systems.

I believe that this is ultimately achieved by recognising and honouring the expertise that each individual holds about themselves and their future dreams.

I am an Art of Hosting practitioner where I am continually drawn to and amazed at the power of Circle.

DEE BROOKS

Jeder Collective

I’m passionate about people! Seeing people discover what they care about, enough to act on, is exciting and rewarding.

I’m an international community engagement and development trainer and facilitator who believes in the power of tapping into the collective wisdom of a community to strengthen and build on what’s already there.

I’m a Collective Member of the Jeder Institute and have been applying participatory leadership processes to my work for almost 2 decades.

As an ABCD trainer and consultant, founding member and Facilitator of the ABCD Asia Pacific Network, an Art of Hosting trained facilitator, a founding co-creator of The Unconference, a Flow Game Host and DRUMBEAT Facilitator, I love witnessing the light bulb moments people have when they discover their assets and strengths!

With over 20 years experience in the disability sector I am deeply passionate about all people having the opportunity to find their passion and purpose in life and ways to have that valued within community. I’m dedicated to my life-long purpose of finding ways for all people to be included and lead self-directed lives.

I have worked at many levels within organisations, experiencing supporting people directly, leading teams of person centred planners and influencing change at organisational and systems level.

I am now a Director at Jeder Institute and have the honour of working with a team of planners that are supporting people to prepare their Plans for the NDIS and self manage their funding and supports.

I am a facilitator, trainer, coach and mentor of strengths based and collaborative practices. I regularly travel the country and world sharing and learning with other like-minded people.

My dream is to build / work in a teal organisation and get some balance back into my personal life.  I love to ride horses, play drums in circle, meditate and dance.

SOPHIE DREW

I am a communicator, thinker, problem solver and organiser.  I like to connect people, places, ideas and logic. I have more than 15 years’ experience in the area of communication, media, government and corporate relations. My previous positions have included journalist, sub-editor, media adviser, public affairs, events management, fundraising and corporate relations roles.

I currently live in Canberra and have been involved within Federal Government and politics working with members of parliament. Most recently, I was involved in bringing corporate organisations and politicians together through events. While this work was interesting, kept me busy and paid the bills, my heart was numb and I had forgotten who I was and what I valued and enjoyed. It was time for a change.

I enjoy the challenges of problem solving and finding a solution to any given situation. I enjoy the growth and strength of communication through tools such as social media and traditional communication methods. I enjoy working with people and the community and finding the real people, who revel themselves without their social masks.

While I am still on a journey of my own discovery, I feel I am on the right track and am excited to be assisting Purpose Partners with the unique and beautiful work that they do within the community.
